Congratulations to Nic Perryman and Peter Bedingfield for their Canoe England awards-  well deserved and we are lucky to have their help.

We are running a slalom mini series :
Jan 28th and Feb 25th 10.00 start, entry £4 and courses for div 4 to Prem
So hope you can all make it and spread the word to other clubs

2 great promotions at Llandysul - Hannah Oliphant now Div 1 and Harry Mugford back in Prem - well done both

3 more promotions to Div 1 - fantastic!!  Merry and Piers in kayak and Noah in C1.

Event:
The usual lots of help needed please for our event on 25th 26th June.
Course building on Tuesday 21st June from 5.00.
Sessions as normal but you will be expected to put up at least one gate before or after the session – we’ll show you how and it need not take long.
Many hands... etc and you need to know how to put a gate up if you don’t already.

Bank work:
The Environment Agency will be reinstating the near side bank from 28th June and will close the weir pool for 4 weeks.
There will still be sessions but with a difference so watch the web site/calendar.
We need to take down all the lines and electrics after the event and on Monday 27th June – so please help with this.
It is heavy work rolling the gate lines so please do not leave it to Dave Waine and me!!


26th 27th March Great results and turnout at Yalding- well done to Matt (3rd Div 3), Seb, Alex, Caitlin, Max, Callum, Ben, Murray, Gordon and Callum W .
Also wins in the last of the season Danger Ducks polo match at Tandridge..

5th 6th March Our Double div 1 / 2 - ran extrememly smoothly with great water (2 gates Sat and 3 gates Sun and not many boils). Thanks to everyone who helped and well don to the competitiors who put in some impressive runs.

Our Div 1 2 double event- 5th and 6th March 2011.  Many thanks to Peter B for representing us so effectively at the ACM and to all the clubs who supported our motion.

Our Club outing to Yalding was a great sucess: Poppy promoted to div 2 , Jake and Caitlin to div 3, and Sheppy teams first and third in the Lazer - in the teams were also Seb, Matt S, Alex, William, Ben, Callum, Matt L-C and Callum W and Joely W.- And Murray was promoted to Div 3 on the Sunday.  Well done to you all - great paddling !!

11th, 12th Sept- 13th at the Interclubs - well done team.

4th Sept - demo at Thames River Festival was well recieved well, with rolls, eximo rescues, parallel races to impress the crowds, snd an excellent commentary/

24th July - Fun Slalom .  Enjoyed by many and all the more because our Junior GB team stars - Mal, Zac and Cieran- lead a team each.  Many thanks to them.   Results

Thanks to everyone who helped with our event on 26th 27th June.

A great success- I think we all agree - and a very fitting Top Club Presentation by Helen Reeves, our very own Olympic medallist, introduced by Sue Hornby, BCU Director of Development.

Fantastic attendance and results from our youngsters which included Poppy- 1st her 1st Div 3, Alex and Matt promoted to Div 3 and Jacob promoted to Div 2. Well done.

21st March - Great Event - thanks to all the helpers and competitors. There was a fun atmosphere and excellent water levels and course.

NB  No coached session this Saturday (27th March) as Gordon will be supporting paddlers at Yalding - come and compete or help there instead!!
